The Resort has 34 rooms, and one villa that is a two bedroom/bath with an upstairs loft for additional sleeping. The properties 34 rooms are located in eight buildings overlooking the bay, each building has two units per floor with two floors. All walls and floors are concrete with a 6′ X 8′ outside deck access through sliding doors.

The units are accessed by a circular driveway used by our electric carts so that the facilities are kept quite. The carts move guests from the Palenque building which houses the resorts lobby, pool, restaurant and bar.

The eight units positioned on a sloping hillside that reaches down to the bay shoreline and the Punta Vista Bahia lookout point which divides the property into two different shoreline types. The first 50 meters of shoreline are kept natural as is the law in Costa Rica which allows the howler monkey troop that uses the property for their home to live. This natural shoreline is green leaved in the May to December time and then when the dry season starts in December leaves are shed and the view of the bay becomes open. The resorts Shoreline trail allows each of the rooms to get access to the two beaches directly on the property, our swimming beach we call Playitas (little beach) and the larger mile long beach of Playa Panama.

Rooms have wi-fi, cable television, small kitchenette with microwave and table for four and of course air conditioning with the ceiling fans that make for comfortable air circulation. The sofa turns into a sleeper and when needed we prefer to make up the bed with a special mattress that accommodates a wonderful sleep.

The morning sunrise is at 6:00 am and is the time when birds and the monkeys are howling to proclaim their territory. The properties hillside faces the rising morning sun and calm waters of the bay when the airflow is calm. As the day continues, by 11:00 am the suns intensity has begun to push the airflow (wind) which comes directly into the property from the east. In the tropics, the weather comes from the east rather than the west as is in North America. This airflow allows for a comfortable, hot weather attire of shorts and light clothing.

The resort provides guest with morning breakfast served in the Palenque building and a typical breakfast is similar to the one pictured. Cereals, pancakes or other items are likewise available.
